竹野神社参道脇の森には静かに水が流れ、神域の山を背後に多様な植生が緩やかに自然と人間の境界を示している。この地を訪れた田中は、東方の地の麻で織られ、日本の精麻で縫い合わされた紙布を通して境界について思考を巡らせた。スクリーンさながら森に織り込まれた多くの物語を映す紙布は、本殿と拝殿の境界線に手向けられた。

Water flows quietly in the forest beside the approach to Takano Shrine, and diverse vegetation gently marks the boundary between nature and human with the sacred mountain in the background. After visiting, Tanaka pondered over boundaries, using paper cloth woven with hemp from the east and sewn together with Japanese hemp. The paper cloth is like a screen, reflecting the many stories that are woven into the fabric of this place. The shimmering boundary is offered at the boundary between the main hall and the worship hall.
