Lecture and Discussion: “Regenerative Architecture” with Anna Heringer and Akihisa Hirata
Anna Heringer has worked on a variety of vernacular architecture projects around the world, presented a TED Talk in 2017 on mud buildings, and is Professor of Sustainable Architecture at UNESCO.
Akihisa Hirata is an architect and is a professor at Kyoto University. A Heringer’s lecture will be followed by a discussion with Akihisa Hirata on regenerative architecture using local materials and traditional techniques.
