A store house by Ryue Nishizawa. Agricultural store houses are regularly seen in the agricultural fields of Japan. Their shapes and materials differ depending on the place, but sometimes they can surprise us by blending into the environment. By using yakisugi (burnt cedar), which is also used in the houses in the Miya area around the venue as a building material, it blends in with the scenery.

Cooking and Ceramic Kiln is co-created by Akio Niisato and Takaya Kato, graduates of the Tajimi Ceramic Design Institute, using clay from Taiza. The kiln is located right in front of the Shinmeiyama burial mound, where people from ancient times would have fired haniwa clay figurines and vessels and eaten around the kiln.

Humans live by eating, and death comes when they stop eating. To live is to gather, talk, eat, learn, and work. Even though it is small, this kiln is a symbol of a fulfilled life in which you can both cook and fire small ceramics.
