TOMORROW FIELD 2025 Autumn

Exhibition

[100% Erde] Miya Tea House

What will the environment on Earth be like 100 years from now?
The increasingly intense summers we experience each year no longer seem like something that will simply “work itself out.”

This autumn, TOMORROW FIELD presents its fifth project, MIYA Tea House, as part of its ongoing series of public processes.
The project is being developed in collaboration with Nakasu Plasterer, a Kyoto-based plastering associates known for its work on teahouses; Anna Heringer, a German architect recognized for her regenerative approach to architecture; and Martin Rauch, an Austrian ceramic artist and pioneer of rammed earth structure.
The work is being created in Miya, Tango Town, on a site adjacent to “Field of Stars”, which was unveiled in 2023.

Meanwhile, from September 3 to October 31, ONJIUM, the Seoul-based Research Institute of Korean Cultural Heritage is hosting the first exhibition of SEA BRIDGES, a project that reconnects Korean and Japanese craftspeople—reflecting on the historical connection between the Korean Peninsula and Tango—while building new cultural bridges in the present.

During the autumn period, the folding screens and partitions exhibited in Seoul will also be shown in Taiza.

SEA BRIDGES

Each of these initiatives continues the founding mission of TOMORROW FIELD:
to foster intercultural dialogue and learning through collaboration, cultivating creativity and nurturing the next generation.

The works presented in this exhibition are artistic expressions created with local and natural materials that minimize environmental impact—offering moments that move the heart and inspire reflection on our shared future.
