Workshop “TOMORROW Studio - Plastering”
A workshop will be held by Nakasu Plasters, who have plastered a wide range of sukiya buildings, including the main shrine, temples and teahouses, to learn how to make Tataki. Tataki is an earthen floor which is made by mixing “tatakitsuchi” (beaten earth) with lime and water, then beating and solidifying it.
Join us in creating the exhibition floor in Taiza this fall and crafting memories by building a house from local soil.
